I had a similar problem with a p5kpl board I used to build my mom a computer. The drivers disappeared after I installed them from the disk. I didn't notice until after I took care of a few other things, but then all I had to do was re-install them---but I don't remember if I downloaded the second install from the website or if I used the same drivers from the disk. It happened 2 different times with both builds using the same board, but both times, all I had to do was re-install or update the drivers or something. I don't remember anymore.
